"Fresh & Unready" television commercial

Television commercial (40 seconds) promoting Sainsbury’s Fresh ‘n’ Ready range of prepared salads, fruits and vegetables.

The advert shows a man and woman at home who have an upcoming dinner party with friends. He is panicking about getting the meal ready. However she is relaxing in the bath having bought products from the Sainsbury’s Fresh ‘n’ Ready range which meant all the work in preparing the meal had been taken care of. He thinks he is a "culinary genius" - when all he has done is open packets. Ends with the slogan “Sainsbury’s. Special food at everyday prices”.

Advertising agency reference: AMV/SAFU374/040. The background music is a theme used in several Sainsbury’s 1990s commercials entitled “Thirty Something”.
