"Refresher Course" television and cinema commercials

Television and cinema commercials promoting the wide range of fresh products available at Sainsbury's ("10 kinds of egg.", "9 kinds of lettuce." etc.). "Take a fresh look at Sainsbury's." appears onscreen at start and "Fresh Food, Fresh Ideas." slogan appears onscreen at end.

There were three versions of this commercial which were completed: a 50 second television version, a 50 second cinema version, and a cut down 30 second television version. The 50 second TV version was broadcast from 14 May 1997 (ITV in most regions, Channel 4, and Channel 5). There was also a test version of the commercial filmed on 29th to 31st January 1997 which was not broadcast, though some of the footage was used in the finished commercial. The rest of the footage for the finished commercial was filmed at York Way Studios, London on 21st to 28th April 1997. The voiceover was by Ian McShane.
