Leeds, Doncaster and Sheffield branches television commercial

Television commercial (40 seconds) promoting Sainsbury's new store at Moor Allerton Centre, Leeds and the existing Yorkshire stores at Doncaster and Sheffield.

The advert focuses on the history, success and quality of Sainsbury’s, including a mention of ‘Discount ’81’. The advert is narrated by a man with a Yorkshire accent.

The advert includes footage of Sainsbury's stores (including exterior of Victoria, London) and product displays in-stores. Some of this also featured in other advertisements such as the "You can't beat Sainsbury's" series. It also includes images of historic Sainsbury's branches (from the Sainsbury Archive).

It ends with the slogan "Good food costs less at Sainsbury's" voiced by the narrator and a caption "Sainsbury's Moor Allerton Centre, Moortown, Leeds. From 13th October. (Also at Doncaster & Sheffield)".
