Sainsbury's centenary television commercials, 1969

Video of a series of seven television commercials for Sainsbury's centenary in 1969. The commercials feature Kenneth Kendall (newsreader) asking customers about "what they think of Sainsbury's" and asking whether they knew the company was 100 years old. Five commercials feature a cake with candles and the slogan "100 good food years". Two of the commercials feature the caption "Sainsbury's say 'Thank-You' for their first 100 years" and an animated version of the 1869 1969 centenary logo.
