Text on first page of booklet advises customers to see the current Price List for prices and includes the address of Head Office at Stamford House.

Booklet is printed in black and red ink, and includes cartoon illustrations.

Flyer advertising Sainsbury's "Lucky Dogs" Competition (appears to have been distributed inside the 'Lucky Dogs' booklet when it was given out to customers). Flyer reads "Sainsbury's offer 12 prizes for the 12 best picnic photos in which Sainsbury's Picnic Foods are obviously contributing to the enjoyment of the Picnic". Prizes consisted of 12 fitted picnic baskets ("exactly as illustrated on the cover of this booklet").
