""Lucky Dogs" Competition" flyer

Booklet entitled "Lucky Dogs!" advertising "Picnic Provender / Everything Needed by the Inner Man to make a Picnic or a Week-End Camping Holiday an unqualified success". Goods advertised within the booklet include: picnic meats (such as beef, pork, chicken, ham, ox tongue, veal and ham pies, piekins, sausage rolls, breakfast sausage, nonpareil sausage, savelots and liver sausage); picnic drinks including iced coffee, hot tea and fruit squashes; picnic canned fruits; tea time picnic goods such as meat and fish pastes, sardines and salmon; camping picnic provisions such as soup in bottles and tins, and tinned English vegetables. Text on first page of booklet advises customers to see the current Price List for prices and includes the address of Head Office at Stamford House. Front cover features a black and white photograph of a dog stretching up to peep into a picnic hamper. Booklet is printed in black and red ink, and includes cartoon illustrations.
