The booklet promotes various Christmas food products (Sainsbury's own-brand and supplier branded products) including: cakes; mince pies; Christmas puddings; confectionery (chocolates and sweets); Christmas cake; snacks (including nuts and crisps); alcoholic and soft drinks (eg wine, beer, fruit juices); Sainsbury's Occasions range of party foods; delicatessen counter products (eg paté, quiche, ham, pies) and condiments (eg pickled onions), vegetables (including Sainsbury's Fresh 'n' Ready range of prepared vegetables); Christmas dinner (turkey, stuffing etc); vegetarian meals; desserts; cheeses; after-dinner (spirits, coffee, chocolate biscuits); chocolates; quick suppers. The booklet also includes recipes for citrus Christmas cake; three Christmas cake toppings (rough-iced cake, fruit-glazed topping, and glazed-nut topping); cranberry fizz; mulled cider; dolcelatte and vegetable parcels with cranberry and lime sauce; golden turkey curry; turkey and pasta gratin; roast rib of beef with roasted onions; and whole poached salmon. Other information includes advice on planning a Christmas meal, details of Sainsbury's free glass loan service, and a list of Sainsbury's larger stores which offer the widest choice of products.
