"Fresh ideas for Summer Eating" booklet

Brochure promoting summer food and drink lines.

Includes prices, recipe ideas, colour photographs, an offer from British Airways Holidays of £150 off per booking to any Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, and a competition to win a holiday to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

Brochure was available to customers at no charge as part of the "Sainsbury's Fresh food, fresh ideas" advertising campaign. The brochure was designed and produced by New Crane Publishing Ltd.

The brochure is divided into the following sections:
"Family barbecue" - promotes fresh and ready-prepared foods including Sainsbury's Fresh 'n' Ready range and Sausages of Distinction; recipes for: Fresh 'n' Ready continental four leaf salad with roasted vegetables; warm chicken salad; nectarines with tabbouleh; classic Caesar salad; rice and vegetable salad; seafood kebabs; swordfish with tomato salsa; three bean salad; and other 'fresh ideas'
"The meat free option" - promotes vegetarian options for barbecues; recipe for vegetable patties
"By the seaside" - suggestions for picnics including sandwiches, Sainsbury's Traditional Style soft drinks, Still Juice Drinks, Ready to Eat dried foods; recipe for pasta salad with fresh broccoli.
"Some enchanted evening" - suggestions for an 'al fresco' supper including cooked meats, snacks and party foods
"Raise your glasses" - promotes wines, beers, spirts and soft drinks (Sainsbury's own brand and supplier branded)
"A moveable feast" - suggestions of foods for a 'stylish picnic' including cooked meats, pies and kebabs; recipes for: strawberry champagne cocktail; classic fruit scones; parmesan and chive scones.
"Home for the holidays" - suggestions of family foods for eating indoors including Sainsbury's 95'ers hot dogs, Knorr Soups of the World.
"Mummy can I have a party?" - promotes foods for children's parties such as Sainsbury's Fizz soft drinks range, crisps, and ice cream; recipe for crunchy parmesan drumsticks
"Happy endings" - promotes fresh fruit and ice creams
