The price list covers the full range of Sainsbury's products, i.e. meat, poultry and game, groceries and provisions.
It is hard to see any order in the layout of the pamphlet although similar products from the various departments are listed next to each other. In general dairy products are listed at the start of the pamphlet, charcuterie, groceries and "sundries" (mostly assorted groceries) in the middle and meat and poultry at the end.
Each page is headed with a title stating the nature of the products listed on those pages, at the foot of each page there is a promotional slogan. The front cover is illustrated with a line drawing of a picnic hamper and contents; the back cover has an advertisement for Grouse captioned "The Shop Window This Week". The pamphlet has 30 folios. Indexed.
The price list was valid for a fortnight, subject to market fluctuations.
There is a branch stamp for the branch at 9 London Road, Kingston on the final page.
