The pamphlet has line drawings on every page, mostly of rural scenes, flowers and birds. there is no large cover illustration , merely further small line drawings of birds on the front cover and of a brace of grouse on the back cover.

The pamphlet was probably made to advertise the opening of the branch at 6 Station Parade, Epsom.

A list of "This Day's Prices" was found with the pamphlet stamped from the Palmers Green branch, this has been cut into quarters with holes punched in the sides and used for some type of craft activity, possibly storing threads or needles.
