"A Selection of Quality Wines from Germany" price list

The document describes nine wines, giving tasting and serving notes as well as price information [price list]. In addition the flyer contains a tabulated wine guide giving the price, bottle size, sweetness and suggested serving notes for a large number of other wines not listed in the leaflet.

All the featured wines are own-label, although some of the wines in the tabulated information are not. The leaflet is illustrated with photographs of the bottles.

The front cover is illustrated with a grid-picture of a vineyard, the back cover contains an advertisement for Sainsbury's wine information, especially the Wine Guides written by Oz Clarke for Sainsbury's.

The leaflet is accompanied by a memorandum from the Advertising Department to Mr B.J. Horley concerning this flyer and one for continental breads (see SA/MARK/ADV/3/2/1/9/1/3/1/1).
