The price list is a detailed description of wines, with an emphasis on those suitable for summer.

The entries are divided by country of origin and region, and in addition to price information give brief tasting notes and suggestions of suitable foods with which to match the wine, such as tapas. The pamphlet also contains information about the choosing and storing wine and an advertisement for the Sainsbury Wine Guides written by Oz Clarke.

The cover is illustrated with a photograph of three bottles of wine on a table in a summer garden.

The pamphlet is accompanied by a memorandum from the Advertising Department to the Distribution Department concerning the leaflet (SA/MARK/ADV/3/3/2/22/1).
