'Save much more at Sainsbury's' leaflet, Feb 1959

The leaflet advertises prices [price list] for a range of groceries including cheese, canned vegetables and fruit, soups, sauces and jams and marmalades. The majority of the items are brand-name products.

The leaflet is foolscap length but only half the width, and has been folded in half across its width. Sainsbury's prices are directly compared with the manufacturer's price.

The cover is printed in red and white diagonal stripes with the cover lettering in white letters on a black background, the back cover is black with white and red stars and a further slogan in white and red lettering. The slogan on the back cover reads "Be Sure and Save More at Sainsbury's".

Reference is made to Sainsbury's Star price reductions. Similar to SA/DES/39/21 but there are some differences in the products listed.
