'More Star Price Reductions at Sainsbury's' leaflet, May 1959

The leaflet advertises prices [price list] for a range of groceries including canned meat, fruit squash, biscuits, breakfast cereals and tea. The majority of the items are brand-name products.

The leaflet is foolscap length but only half the width, and has been folded in half across its width. Sainsbury's prices are directly compared with the manufacturer's price. The cover is printed in red and black, with large black and white stars, lettering is in white and red ink. The back cover bears a further slogan "Be Sure and Save by Shopping at Sainsbury's".
