'More Star Price Reductions at Sainsbury's' leaflet, May 1959

The leaflet advertises prices [price list] for a range of groceries including canned meat, canned vegetables and fruit, soups, sauces, jams and marmalades and tea.

The majority of the items are brand-name products. The leaflet is foolscap length but only half the width, and has been folded in half across its width. Sainsbury's prices are directly compared with the manufacturer's price. The cover is printed in orange and black, with black and white stars, lettering is in white and orange. The back cover bears the slogan "Be Sure and Save More at Sainsbury's".
