'Shop Best, Save Most at Sainsbury's' leaflet, Sep 1959

The leaflet advertises prices [price list] for a range of groceries including canned vegetables, jellies, breakfast cereals and porage oats, biscuits and mincemeat. The majority of the items are brand-name products.

The leaflet is foolscap length but only half the width, and has been folded in half across its width. Sainsbury's prices are directly compared with the manufacturer's price. The cover is printed in blue and white, with large blue and yellow stars, lettering is mostly white, but some yellow and red.
