'Good Food Costs You Less At Sainsbury's' price list, Apr 1961

The leaflet advertises prices for a range of groceries including soup, porridge oats, pickles and sauces, biscuits and tea and coffee. The majority of the items are brand-name products.

The leaflet is foolscap length but only half the width, and has been folded in very unequal thirds across its width. Sainsbury's prices are directly compared with the manufacturer's price. The cover is printed in orange and white, with a large star in black, red and white lines, lettering is mostly orange, but some red.
