Image showing: Sainsbury's Frozen New York Deli Style Vanilla Cheesecake; Sainsbury's Frozen New York Deli Style Vanilla & Chocolate Cheesecake; Sainsbury's Frozen Sticky Toffee Gateau; and Sainsbury's Frozen Sticky Toffee Pavlova. The picture was included in 'JS Journal' December 1994 page 28-29. 'JS Journal' (Sainsbury's staff magazine) describes the products: "Feeling harassed with the Christmas season? Take some time out to indulge yourself and try one (or all!) of four delectable and delicious new desserts. Daringly devious are the two sticky toffee desserts - Sticky Toffee Gateau and Sticky Toffee Pavlova. The gateau comprises a light sponge filled and topped with cream and covered in a sticky toffee sauce. Sticky Toffee Pavlova is a toffee meringue dessert filled with real dairy cream, topped off with toffee sauce and pecans. Sticky Toffee Gateaux are on offer at £1.39 and Sticky Toffee Pavlovas at £1.69 until January. Have you ever wondered what New York cheesecake tastes like? Well now's your chance to find out. Two delicious and mouthwatering cheesecake treats have been introduced. Typically heavy and rich, the New York deli-style Vanilla Cheesecake is encrusted in a light digestive biscuit shell and topped with crumbly biscuit. Vanilla and Chocolate Cheesecake is baked with chocolate chips, topped with swirls of rich chocolate sauce and baked in a cookie shell. Both are £3.95".
