Image showing: Sainsbury's Carbonated Spring Water from Shropshire; Sainsbury's Lemonade; Sainsbury's Tonic Water Low Calorie; Sainsbury's Bitter Lemon Low Calorie; Sainsbury's American Style Ginger Beer Low Calorie. The image was included in 'JS Journal' December 1978 page 5. 'JS Journal' stated "Two new bottles and three new mixers are on the bill for the build-up to Christmas. Back left is the new carbonated JS spring water, identical with its still counterpart, but with a refreshing fizz. Its plastic bottle is a recent development, specially 'blown' to withstand the pressure. On sale in all stores currently selling JS water, only 26p for 1½ litres. Back right, in a similar bottle, is the new 1½ litre JS lemonade, 28½p in 121 stores. Front row are the new range of low-calorie mixers from the Sainsbury stable. 'They are the logical extension of our current range of mixers' says buyer John Westcott 'and follow the recent trend towards sugar-free drinks.' They're 16½p in most stores".
