Image showing a bottle of Natural Spring Water from Shropshire beside a fountain in Trafalgar Square, London. The picture was used in 'JS Journal' December 1978 page 15. 'JS Journal' said "Natural spring water has made its first own-label appearance in 93 JS stores. The 1½ litre (2½ pint) bottle contains water from a spring in Church Stretton, Shropshire, which is reputedly as pure as any in the world. Retailing at 22p, the water compares favourably with other British waters and is considerably cheaper than the French bottled waters already being sold. Its purity makes it ideal for mixing with spirits, or in any domestic use where recycled tap-water could affect the enjoyment. In a growing market, despite the fact that France consumes as much spring water in a day as we do in a year, JS Natural Spring Water looks set to be more than just a drop in the ocean".
