Triangular moulded glass dish with rounded corners, used for unidentified J. Sainsbury product. A photograph was of it featured in 'JS Journal' October 1977, p.23, and the "general opinion" received was that the dish contained kipper paste (see 'JS Journal' December 1977, p.24).
Each side of the dish features a ribbed design with spiral edges and a moulded inscription, "J. SAINSBURY". There is a further moulded inscription including the pattern number on the base of the dish.
