The price list is divided into Wines, Wines and Spirits and Beers and Cider. All the prices quoted are for recognised brand names. Many of the items are available as bottles or half-bottles, some prices include a charge for returnable bottles. The front cover contains and advertisement for a Christmas offer on Scotch Whisky and Gin, and has a small line drawing of a sailing ship.

Mock-ups of labels. Two designs are included - one with a sailing ship illustration (as featured on various Sainsbury's wine labels and price lists) probably dates to the 1960s and one with a large gothic letter 'm' which matches the 1976 design shown in SA/PKC/PRO/1/18/4/6/15/9.
