The image is included in 'JS Journal' July 1980 page 4. 'JS Journal' states "Worth hanging on the wall—just to look at—is JS's [Sainsbury's] new range of own-label kitchen tools. Beautifully made in Melamine, the range comes in a cool butter-milk colour. Melamine has a number of advantages over other plastics, in that it is heat resistant to 120°C (which means it should not melt under normal conditions, not even when used in a frying pan). It is colourfast, non-toxic and dishwasher and detergent proof. It is also very difficult to break and is stain resistant. An extra advantage, special to the JS range, is the price. Melamine has the reputation of being pricey. JS prices range from 59p for the small spoon to £1.25p for the tool rack, which comes complete with screws and raw plugs for fixing. The range will be available in about 60 branches from early July".
