Image showing tins featuring archive imagery. The picture is featured in 'JS Journal' August 1980 page 3. 'JS Journal' states "To misquote a bit of current graffiti, nostalgia is what it used to be as far as JS's [Sainsbury's] latest range of tinware is concerned. Based on advertising material in the twenties and thirties the tins are not just useful they are very good to look at. It is a great pity the Journal is not printed in full-colour for the colours are lovely. The two oblong biscuit/cake or whathave-you tins cost £1.45 and went into about 50 stores in July. The delightful tea-caddy (featured on the front cover) has a hinged lid and costs £1.65, and it goes on sale at the beginning of August, again in about 50 branches".
