Includes design briefs and designs of packaging for backing cards for the Sainsbury's Beauty Care range. The packaging just refers to Sainsbury's BeautyCare - the specific product is not named on the packet as this wasn't necessary because the product was directly attached to the card or visible through a transparent sleeve. The same backing card could be used for a range of products of a similar size. Different sizes of the design were created for different sized products and it seems different background colours were used to differentiate different types of products eg haircare and nailcare. It appears there were six sizes for haircare accessories and three sizes for manicure accessories. The following products appear to have been among those included: ponytailers, hairband, brush rollers, hairslides, hairbrush, 60 cotton tips, kirby grips, cosmetic bag (ladies), toilet bag (mens), and shower cap.
