Issues covered include: bomb threats, beef crisis, local price variations, Sainsbury's results and trading statements, 24 hour shopping, school vouchers, new stores, Christmas marketing, Sainsbury's Bank and interviews with David Sainsbury.
This series does not include recordings relating solely to subsidiaries such as Homebase (see SA/SGB/GEN/31) and recordings about the history of Sainsbury's (see SA/HIS/3). Recordings relating primarily to family members are mainly catalogued under SA/FAM.
Transcripts are available of some of these recordings (transcripts are also available for many radio news items and programmes for which we do not have an audio recording). These are currently catalogued under various reference numbers including SA/PR/6, SA/PR/15, SA/PR/20, and SA/PR/38.
