Barker cards (cardboard labels attached to shelf edges) promoting a wide range of items which were reduced in price as part of the Discount '78 campaign. Each card promotes the price of one specific product and would have been displayed on the shelf in the store which contained that product. The barker cards feature the Discount '78 label, a star image, the name of the product, the old price in red crossed out, the new reduced price in blue, and the quantity, weight or volume of the product.
