"Sainsbury's fight for Napsbury Lane supermarket, but will close town centre store anyway" press notice, 23 Jul 1975

Press release about the proposed Napsbury Lane supermarket store arguing the benefits of the proposed store for the town (which was to be the subject of a public enquiry on 30 September) and stating that the counter service town centre store will close regardless of whether the new store goes ahead. The proposed store appears not to have gone ahead, and the counter service store closed in 1976.
