Press release announcing that Southampton City Council has accepted Sainsbury's tender to build a district shopping centre at Lords Hill, Southampton. The new centre is to include a large Sainsbury's supermarket, a variety of other shops, and car parking. Provision was also made for local facilities including a library. It would be one of Sainsbury's largest supermarkets with 50,000 square feet gross area. Related broadcast transcripts are also included.
