Rectangular metal tin with a detachable lid, sold empty as part of a range of Sainsbury's tinware. The tins are described in 'JS Journal' August 1980, p.5, as "biscuit/cake or what-have-you tins". The lid and sides feature an image taken from a 1920s Sainsbury's advertisement with the inscription 'Be fashionable shop at Sainsbury's'. Press release SA/PR/2/1/15/45 probably refers to this item. See SA/MARK/ADV/5/1/3 for original advertising artwork.
