New research by TU at Sainsbury'sshows that over half of all British women (54%), that's over 15 million* ladies, will select special underwear for a Valentine's date and a third of the Nation's women (33%) will even invest in new lingerie for the occasion.
TU at Sainsbury's quizzed over 2,500 respondents about their underwear preferences and habits. Nearly half of all (42%) women surveyed consider what to wear underneath their outfit before a date and search out lingerie that makes them feel confident, sexy and desirable**. That's good news for their partners, as 7 out of 10 women agree that feeling confident about they way they look means the night is more likely to result in some fun between the sheets."
