Folder containing papers relating to two press receptions to promote Sainsbury's own-label products in September 1980. The intention was "to communicate our confidence in the quality and price of "own-label" goods" and they chose "the story of Tendersweet Bacon as a vehicle" to demonstrate Sainsbury's own-label "success story". A lunch reception was held on 17 September and a high tea reception on 23 September 1980.
