In 1980, Sainsbury's produced a free booklet, 'Packed lunches for children' containing suggestions for nutritious lunches. It was launched at a lunchtime press reception on 17 June and was available to anyone who wrote to Sainsbury's head office in Stamford Street asking for a copy and enclosing an 8" x 6½" stamped addressed envelope.
Includes press pack, schedule for press reception, letters, memoranda, invoices and notes containing suggestions for packed lunches. Also includes broadcast transcripts and press cuttings. There is also a transparency, and duplicate black and white photographs of the transparency, which shows a packed lunch.
There are also copies of the booklet, 'Packed lunches for children'.
