  • This series contains recipe cards issued free of charge to Sainsbury's customers. The cards have been sorted by advertising campaign slogan. Most cards contain a recipe, colour photograph, and tips, with later cards also providing nutritional information. Where cards do not carry a campaign slogan, they can be found in SA/MARK/ADV/3/4/1. Other Sainsbury's recipes can be found in SA/PUB Publications. SA/PUB includes Sainsbury's recipe books, and also some early recipe cards (late 1970s-1980s). As these sets of recipe cards were purchased by customers, rather than given away for free, they have been kept with Publications.
