Includes instructions to staff about what to do if Sainsbury's received a threat to contaminate food.
Also includes four duplicate copies of an 'Analysis of media coverage following the withdrawal of Sainsbury's lasagne in which Sainsbury's is mentioned'. The copies contain compilations of photocopied press cuttings and broadcast transcripts (also known as Tellex reports) about the withdrawal of Sainsbury's lasagne following suspicions that the dried Italian lasagne within it had led to a few cases of food poisoning. Lasagne produced by Sharwood and Braibanti was also affected.
Also contains broadcast transcripts and press cuttings about the case of Anne Marie Carroll who had allegedly threatened to contaminate food unless she received £100,000 from Sainsbury's.
There are also some press releases about meat sold in Sainsbury's and prepared questions and answers about BSE so that staff could answer enquiries about it from the media.
