The price list focusses upon products suitable for Christmas, including puddings and cakes, shortbread, confectionary cheeses, cooked meats wines and spirits and cigars and cigarettes. Price listsfor tea and coffee are also given, though here again there is an emphasis upon material suitable for Christmas presents. Some of the items are illustrated with line drawings or photographs of the product. The pamphlet also advertises Limmer and Pipe's catering facilities, illustrated with a photograph of a formal lunch. The cover image is of a gentleman in stylised eighteenth century clothing bearing a laden shopping basket, the back cover bears an advertisement for Limmer's restaurant.
