Recording of the fourth episode of "JSTV", a video magazine programme for Sainsbury's staff featuring stories from around the company. It was presented by Charlie Stayt and Rianna Scipio.
The video sleeve states: "The magazine programme for all staff. To be shown in the staff canteen on the first available Monday over the lunch and supper break, then left in the video for the rest of the week for other staff to watch if they are interested. The JSTV reply cards supplied with the programme should be placed nearby the television for staff suggestions."
Footage is included relating to each of the items in the video, e.g. footage from stores, staff at work. There are also interviews with staff and others in some reports.
Contents:
1. Introduction by presenters.
2. Report showing a delivery driver's working day with driver Mick Williams of Buntingford depot. Footage includes lorry and depot.
3. Report on the relaunched range of pet food – Paws and Scout's; with Ed Rowe (pet nutritionist), Anne Head (animal trainer), Sophie and Poppy (cat and dog featured in advert).
4. Report on launch of Sainsbury's "Sound + Vision" department at Banbury store.
5. Report on new staff uniforms being trialled at Horsham store. Shows staff modelling the uniforms.
6. "Noticeboard" – information on SSA (Sainsbury's Staff Association) events and offers of reduced price tickets etc available to staff.
6. Report about Sainsbury's Schoolbags promotion. Includes clip from promotional video (see LSA/8751).
7. Report about Penny Back initiatives with example of support for Kent Air Ambulance.
8. Report about the Customer Services department at head office (with Penny Forward from this department) and how they deal with customer enquiries and feedback.
9. Conclusion by presenters.
