Unedited footage probably filmed for "It's the Business" programme, 5 August 1997

Seven videos containing unedited footage and edited reports probably for use in an "It's the Business" programme for Sainsbury's staff (mainly store management teams). "It's the Business" was the anchor business television programme on the "SMART" network (Sainsbury's Management and Retail Television). A label on a tape in the Archive which was subsequently taped over suggests that an "It's the Business" programme was broadcast on 5 August 1997. However the Archive does not seem to have a recording of a programme broadcast on this date.

- Unedited footage of The Royal Show (agricultural show) in 1997. Includes footage of sheep dog demonstration; visitors to the show; Sainsbury’s stand; horses; horseshoe making and fitting; band playing; visitors sampling food at Sainsbury’s stand; demonstrations at Sainsbury’s stand; Sainsbury’s solar refrigeration lorry exhibit; cattle; sheep; pigs; staff; agricultural equipment; vegetables and flowers displays at Sainsbury’s stand; and Tesco stand.
- Finished version of a report titled "Sainsbury’s IIP" about Investors in People (IIP) accreditation at Sainsbury’s Ripley store. Includes interviews with staff at the store about IIP accreditation, staff communication, the changes which had been made as a result of IIP and the positive staff morale at the store. Footage includes the store exterior, store interior with staff at work, customers shopping and checkouts.

- News item about the 1997 Special Olympics Great Britain National Games held in Portsmouth and the role of Sainsbury's in sponsoring it. Includes clips of the Games.
- Clips of footage from an unidentified branch showing: fresh fruit and vegetables department including cauliflowers and cabbages; customer taking Sainsbury's 10 Fragranced Drawtight Swing Bin Liners with Microban antibacterial protection from a shelf; staff member at delicatessen wrapping a cranberry-topped[?] pie in plastic and putting it in a "Sainsbury's Delicatessen" branded tub.
