02:03: Clips of criticism from branch management staff of the "PF" [Productivity Factor, defined by John Howard as "the number of man hours available to store managers to run their stores"], comments on how it can be improved, and questions about labour management.
04:38: Interview in the studio about the PF and controlling labour costs to the improve customer satisfaction with stores director Kevin McCarten. Includes questions from staff about checkout staffing, monitoring the PF and flexible working.
19:00: Clips of interviews with branch management staff with concerns about forthcoming review of staff salary bands A to E and the long time it has taken to be completed.
20:30: Interview in the studio with HR operations director Nigel Broome about the A-E review, including the possibility of a small number of staff having to change jobs, why it will take 12-18 months to deliver, and the next steps in the process. Includes questions from staff about pay and changes to job titles.
28:28: Kevin McCarten speaks about pilot in "14 or so stores" to improve the staff canteens and make them more consistent by outsourcing them to Eurest, a catering company.
