Recording of a special Sainsbury's Business Television programme for Sainsbury's staff (mainly store management teams) titled "countdown to Christmas". It was broadcast on 6 November 2001 by satellite to Sainsbury's stores, depots and offices. It was presented by Steve Knight in the studio.
The programme was the first of a series of three "making Christmas special" programmes about the Christmas trading period from 7 November to the New Year.

2. Studio discussion with Sara Weller and Stuart Mitchell about: the company’s strategy for Christmas; some of the key messages; the ‘toolkit’ for Christmas; products to promote; the Christmas advertising campaign with Jamie Oliver; customer service.
3. Kate Barham and Lindsey French in the studio discuss the Christmas product range, explain some of the products on offer and selling the products. Footage of products is included.
4. Concluding remarks by presenter.
