Recording of a Sainsbury's Business Television programme for Sainsbury's staff (mainly store management teams). It was broadcast live on 6 March 2001 by satellite to Sainsbury's stores, depots and offices. It was presented by John Howard in the studio.

01:44: Pre-recorded interview with trading director, fresh foods Ian Merton about Sainsbury's response to Foot and Mouth Disease (a viral disease which affects livestock and caused a crisis in the UK in 2001). Covers availability, details specific to Northern Ireland, price increases, quality, the supply chain, customer information.
08:20: John Howard mentions that Sainsbury's Supermarkets was awarded corporate IiP [Investors in People, a national standard of excellence in training and personal development practice] status on 27 February 2001, becoming the first major food retailer to be thus recognised.
08:35: Interview in the studio with senior manager, innovation & inspiration Peter Morrison and senior manager, national advertising Lesley Chapman about the new Blue Parrot Café range of healthy meals for children. Covers the research which led to the new range, number of lines, "Beady Eye Promise" (a policy of reducing additives supported by the Hyperactive Children's Support Group), television and instore marketing. Also includes footage of Blue Parrot Café packaging.
14:08: Interview in the studio with general manager, fresh produce Mike Attwood about ensuring quality in produce (fresh fruit and vegetables) department. Covers good performance of the department, new format, training of branch staff and forthcoming "Store of the Year" competition.
17:17: Report presented by Steve Knight from the profitable produce department at Lords Hill, Southampton branch. Includes clips of interviews with branch staff about staffing, display methods, quality, ticketing (shelf edge labels) and availability, and clip of interview with chairman of Mack Multiples ("our biggest produce supplier") Chris Mack. Also includes footage of produce department with staff and customers. Ends with recap reminding staff of important points and advertising "passionate about fresh produce" information pack, "think quality" materials and "fresh produce pocket manual".
26:42: Footage of displays of Easter eggs in branches to demonstrate best practice.
27:41: Report presented by Steve Knight from Lords Hill branch about their fundraising activities for Comic Relief's Red Nose Day 2001.

This interview is not included in the business television programme, though it is possible it was recorded for the programme but not used.
