18:35: Report by Steve Knight from Low Hall, Chingford branch about the about well-being range available there (including foods for special diets, foods free from artificial additives, complimentary remedies (also known as homeopathic medicines), books, vitamins and supplements, health and beauty products, household products, a Fairtrade range and sports-related products). Includes interviews about the range, staff training, signage, and customer feedback with buyer, well being Mark Broomfield, and store manager, Low Hall Dave Wiltshire, and footage of products and customers.
22:53: Interviews with forecast manager, Hands Off Sabre Andy Colvin and store manager, South Ruislip Neil Ponton about roll out of Hands Off Sabre (SAles Based REplenishment computer ordering system) to all branches and switch to centralised forecasting system for branch stock levels. Includes footage of branch staff scanning shelf edge labels with Telxon handheld barcode scanner, using computers in office and moving products in warehouse.
26:32: Report about phase 2 of Sainsbury's Taste the Difference range, with 100 new products being launched for summer 2001. Begins with new television commercial (30 seconds) promoting the Sainsbury's Taste the Difference range. The commercial portrays Jamie Oliver (celebrity chef) and his wife "Jules" (Juliette Norton) hosting a dinner party, but Jamie keeps leaving the table to secretly eat more "irresistible" Taste the Difference products. Ends with "making life taste better" slogan onscreen. This is followed by interview with senior manager, own label marketing Lesley Chapman about good sales of Taste the Difference, phase 2 products and helping branches. Includes footage of Taste the Difference products on shelves in a branch and point of sale advertising.
29:59: Steve Knight concludes the programme by eating some Taste the Difference Cream Tea Ice Cream outside Low Hall, Chingford branch.
