In the article 'The New JS Laboratory', the photograph at the bottom of page 4 shows two water stills (identical items mounted on the wall on the left hand side), a steamer for the preparation of some types of microbiologial media (centre) and a Gallenkamp autoclave (on the right with the white-coated person). All these items were still in use when I joined JS in December 1976!!
