Sainsbury's Wholesale Price List, 1 Feb 1954

The list was printed monthly and contains entries for dairy products, bacon, cooked meats, quick frozen foods and groceries.

It does not include prices for meat poultry and game due to frequent market fluctuations in these departments, instead prices could be obtained from local branches. The intended customers were hotels, catering establishments, hospitals, institutions and school canteens.

The inside front cover outlines the terms of sale. The inside back cover contains a list of districts with branches offering Sainsbury's Wholesale Service. The front cover is not illustrated, the back cover contains an advertising article about Sainsbury's farms.
