I remember working for Trefor's team at Head Office in the mid 1980s. It was over a couple of Christmas periods. Area computer and installation teams were paused during the trading peak and many members were seconded to distribution and IT. Trefor was dynamic. He seemed to be fuelled by strong coffee, Rennies and tobacco. He managed quite a team of loyal people who planned for and applied the new era distribution systems. People like the Popat brothers, Gerry Callanan, Steve Shutts etc. who have gone on to do even more elsewhere.
