I was customer service manager for the opening of Enfield in 93. It was the largest store in the district at the time and the first with a petrol station and coffee shop. The store at Edmonton closed when we opened with the majority of colleagues moving to the new store. I believe the site originally had a Timex factory and ground decontamination had to take place to remove various materials that they used to make the hands on clocks/watches glow in the dark!
