I worked in the old high street stores in Ruislip and Pinner approx 1985. Which one did you have to walk accross a roof to get to the canteen?

I remember you Martin, I started at Ickenham Rd in 1976 as a transfer from Oxford. I went to the first Uxbridge store which we all thought was huge at the time. I didn’t last long there but have great memories of my 3 years with Sainsbury’s. I lived in the hostel above Ickenham Rd which was a great stepping between home and the outside world.
