Sainsbury's Director: Group Chief Executive
Mike served as an Executive Director since 1 August 2007 and as Chief Executive Officer from 9 July 2014 to May 2020. Mike was also a member of the Operating Board since October 2004 and a member of the CR&S Committee. He joined Sainsbury’s from Big Food Group where he was a board director of Big Food Group plc and Managing Director of Iceland Food Stores. He previously worked for both ASDA and Tesco, where he served in a variety of senior management roles
