Drinks types are listed in the order given in the title, and prices are quoted for half bottles, bottles and litre bottles as appropriate. The price list contains information for both own-brand and branded items. The front cover is maroon with white and orange lettering, and contains advertisements for Sainsbury's Whisky, Beefeater Gin and Bardinet Brandy, at at £2.50 per bottle.

The inside front cover gives brief information about the Sainsbury's Vintage Selection and the Sainsbury's Wine Selector. The leaflet is white with green and red lettering throughout; the front cover bears an image of holly leaves with a red wrapping paper decoration in place of the berries. The back cover lists some serving suggestions for wine and various types of Christmas meats and food.
